The Lyoness Child & Family Foundation (CFF) was established in May 2008 in Switzerland as a non-profit foundation. As a politically independent, charitable organisation, we support and help children, adolescents and families in need worldwide, in the field of education. According to our guiding principle “Education. Opportunities. Future.” we support sustainable education work across cultural and ethnic boundaries. Thus, the CFF provides future perspectives for people who would not have any without the help of others. The Lyoness Child & Family Foundation’s work is based on the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child postulating basic access to education for everyone.
The Lyoness Child & Family Foundation’s projects are being financed by the internationally active Lyoness shopping community. Every member of the shopping community actively contributes with every purchase made to realising on-going projects. Additionally, our work is supported by education sponsorships and donations. The financial means of the Foundation are used 100% for implementing and supporting national and international CFF projects. All administrative costs are covered by the Lyoness group.
